Chinese Arabs, also known as Hui people, are an ethnic minority group in China. They are primarily comprised of followers of Islam and adhere to Islamic customs like halal food and daily prayer. Hui people are spread out throughout China, with significant populations in Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai, and Xinjiang provinces. They have their own culture and customs, but have assimilated into Chinese society over the centuries, adopting the Chinese language and way of life. Despite this, they still maintain their Islamic beliefs and traditions, and have maintained their distinct identity as Chinese Arabs.
